Amels has celebrated its first launch of the year as the first Amels 200 hit the water at Damen Yachtings facility in the Netherlands. She was built in 2019 by Lürssen Yachts. Due to be delivered from Mulder Shipyard in February 2019 the brand new 34m118ft superyacht CALYPSO will kick off her very first charter season in the Mediterranean a few months later.

As one of the largest builders of colossal yachts Lurssen is of course coming into 2019 with a bang with a predicted 5 yachts over 100m being launched this year. 93m Project 814 Feadship Stylish Feadship superyacht PROJECT 814 was launched in October 2018 with a delivery expected around Spring 2019. Throughout 2019 we have seen some highly exciting custom projects signed and sold heralding a promising future for the industry.

Year after year the superyacht industry celebrates the launch of bigger bolder and better designs. Oceancos only scheduled launch for 2019 is the 90-metre project Y716 also known as Yasmin. Designed and styled by Nick Top and Guido De Groot Jangada 2 features a custom flybridge deck with an outdoor helm station al fresco dining area and a wet bar.

A jewel among the sea of super yachts very little is actually known about Topaz although she sails under the Cayman flag she is thought to be UAE-owned.
