Shintani style vs yamamuro. We all know that shintani overtook the yamamuro style and usurped yamamuro. Think i prefer the look of yamamuro's goku considering he is supposed to be someone who works his body to the limit with weights and such. Here's a list of differences.

Web i love when yamamuro's designs are at their peak, but shintani's approach is more palatable in general (granted, we've had just the one movie with it, so jury is still out) and just better for animation. Shintani's character sheet for him is great, but i'm not convinced that he's consistent enough with goku's (base) face to surpass him in that regard. That's the same with shintani's yamamuro's character designs are also anatomically incorrect, jist flip one of his art and you'll notice it. Web i think that when it comes to their transformation designs, shintani is actually better than prime yamamuro.

The face proportions in the screenshot, based on the character sheet, are just a whole lot better than yamamuro. I liked yamamuro's style there without face highlights all over the place and characters felt less stiff than in bog, rof and super. Ago having details doesn't make a great art or design mate.
