In my last article I wrote about a-now launched NFT project built on Solana - Degen Ape Academy and its potential to do well.
Is nft art worth it. Is investing in NFT-ART finance worth it. NFTs are considered an investment of value. NFT has been around since 2015 but started making waves in 2020 when its market tripled.
Traditional works of art such as paintings are valuable because they are one of a kind. But it was really in 2021 that it picked up steam. BUT only as long as people are willing to pay for it.
Zora for instance is an NFT platform with the Creative Share option meaning users can buy and trade artworks immediately. But digital files can be easily and endlessly duplicated. This depends upon which platform the artist is using.
The same is true for the Beeple collage which sold for 69 million at auction. NFTs were really over-hyped earlier this year because of well blockchain. Using the previous example there can only be one first tweet from Jack Dorsey which increases its rarity and in turn its sale price.
Not only that how it works too. For a while NFTs had won market approval. It doesnt matter the NFT token can only be art no it can be a music album sticker an actual image or anything available digitally.
Its like a flea market right now with tons of new projects launching daily - without clear roadmaps atrocious artwork and frankly just looking for a money grab. Similar to other collectibles demand and availability will. NFT art like any art only has value because of public perception.
