The first step to turning on dark mode in instagram is to navigate to your profile page.

Turn off instagram dark mode. Go to your settings area, then display. Open the instagram app on. Its a server side switch.

From settings, go to display & brightness. Believe it automatically follows dark mode on the phone. Tap in the top right.

Go to the hamburger menu. Open the instagram app on your android phone. Open the instagram app on your device.

To activate or deactivate the dark or light mode at your whim, instagram has enabled a theme selector. In this menu, tap “settings.”.
