After the Russian Revolution the ship was placed in drydock until 1936 when she was converted to a minelayer.
Russian yacht standart interior. She was the last yacht in service and commissioned by the Russian Imperial Family. The vessel was built by the Dutch shipwright Vybe Gerens under the direct supervision of the tsar. The Standart was a superb black-hulled 5557-ton yacht measuring 401 in length and 50 wide making it the largest private ship in the world.

The ISB is 5 8276 0016 4. The Imperial Yacht Standart was built by order of Emperor Alexander III and constructed at the Danish shipyard of Burmeister Wain² beginning in 1893. She was the first flagship of the Imperial Russian Navy and was in service until 1727.
She was much larger and faster than that of the other Imperial Yachts the Alexandria and the Polar Star reaching speeds of up to 2118 knots. Constructed in Denmark the Shtandart was and is to this day the most beautiful vessel ever built for leisure and private usage. It later served Emperor Nicholas II and his family.
