Pilot house eagle. Eagles were the common carving found on the tops of steamboat pilot houses. In 2014 ELY worked with the Missouri History Museum on the reconstruction of the Pilot House of the Golden Eagle excursion steamboat. Masterful carved highly detailed of feathers and of the entire bird.
