How to clean wax off outside of scentsy warmer. There are a few ways to clean wax off of an outside of a scentsy warmer. The first thing i did was pour out all the wax (they were filled with the day priors melted wax) into the garbage and wiped them out vigorously with a paper. This will make it easy to remove the wax from the warmer.
When the wax is still in liquid form, dab gently with a paper towel to remove the excess. Then, wait a few minutes to soak up the melted wax thoroughly. Just a plain ol’ hairdryer and paper napkins or paper towels.
But the most important part of cleaning your scentsy. You can clean it by using a knife, magic eraser, or a piece of cotton. When the wax is still melted, drop a cotton ball in the warmer dish (typically one cotton ball per cube of wax) and let it soak up all the wax, then remove and toss in the trash.
For many of us who have been warming wax for a long while we get this build up of residue that isn't very esthetically pleasing in our beautiful scentsy warm. Another way is to use a vacuum cleaner with the hose. One way is to use a cloth or paper towel to wipe the wax off.
Turn on the heating and warm wax first. The hairdryer should be set to the maximum heat and be blown over the wax for at least 15 minutes to melt it. When you’re ready to change out your fragrance, place one cotton cleanup pad in the melted wax.
