The COBIA plant was even older and split into 3 different buildings as things were built as needed. A leader in the marine industry since 1968 Robalo is renowned for its heavy-duty construction legendary ride and unwavering desire to stay on the cutting edge of innovation. He bought a new 2020 Cobia 220cc.

During the test ride they made a great difference. The Robalo still uses wood for its stringer structure. The Cobia 301CC 174049 with twin Yamaha F300s offers 5 inches more length overall but does not offer the full-height bonded safety-glass windshield of the Robalo R302.

I would look into the new 4 cylinder F200 for the 22 footer though. I like the fishing rod storage in the Robalo including gunnel storage toe rails and under deck storage. We offer wreckagefuel spill removal on-water towing etc.

What a great boat. The plants were only about a 1 14 miles apart and when they merged things at the COBIA plant was redone to accommodate the ROBALOS. Boatersexchange will be representing us at the show and hope to see you there.

They did cheapen them up when BPS bought them out. I have narrowed it down to the Robalo 300 and Cobia 296 both powered with twin 300 Yamahas. I will be scheduling a sea trial for both until then any information I can gather about these two boats.
