Benetti yacht fire. Benetti Shipyard in Livorno has released an official statement related to the fire aboard a 54 m luxury superyacht nearing her completion. Tigers Eye has since been towed to Roscioli Yachting Center for inspection. The yacht was hauled out at the Muggiano shipyard near La Spezia when the fire broke out on the morning of September 15.

Benetti shipyard informs that this morning around 7am in the Morosini dock area located inside the boatyard in Livorno Via Edda Fagni - FB261 a Benetti 56m yacht in the late stages of construction - caught fire most probably caused by a massive storm full of lightning and electricity in the atmosphere that affected Livorno overnight. A major fire has severely damaged the 42-meter superyacht Lalibela as she was moored in Vallauris Harbor near Cannes France.
