Why am i hitting myself in my sleep. Check out with a sleep doctor. I am not familiar with sleeping disorders or if this could even possibly be one or if its just perhaps him dreaming and re-acting to whatever he may be dreaming about. Been there done that left a bruise and feel horrible.

I have a long history of odd nighttime behavior including but not limited to. Talk hit sing walk eat. It is when you realise you are dreaming which means you are conscious.
Check with your doctor. I dont think I have ever hit myself but I have been known to hit others in my sleep. And seeing as you seem to partly act out your dreams you would be able to keep yourself under control.
Look at how you sleep as well as how you feel when you wake up in the morning. However the tables were turned when my boyfriend punched me in his sleepI didnt even wake up. I cant count the number of times I have done that.
