If you change the spl of the speaker, your amp will be louder or softer.
Weber 12a150. I know that doesn't help much for your application, but i don't think you can go wrong with a 12a150 for a fender amp. Between my webers and wgs's(fat jimmy), i'm in tone heaven! The w cone imparts more upper mids than the other 12a/f150 speakers, which may be the reason it seems brighter.

Jul 30, 2015 #1 h. Not in a blues deluxe, but i'm a fan of weber's and tend to. Reviews (0) 12″, 40oz alnico magnet, 1.5″ voice coil, ribbed cone.
I have for sale a weber 12 inch guitar speaker, this is the classic blue label from when ted was still alive, that is to the best of my knowledge. I think the stock speaker is 97 db / spl. Maybe too much speaker for the deluxe.
