Moisture and dark, shaded areas go hand in hand. Even though it is not considered a hardwood, pine is a very strong fiber. It's a good idea to replace the floor boards with new treated lumber as needed.

Okay, as promised (threatened), i finally got around to replacing the wood decking on my open trailer. Would like to put a little thicker plywood on it but don't want to go threw all the work to get it to. For 5/16 x 18 tpi deck screws, we recommend a 9/32 (0.2812) drill bit.
I did replace mine last june with a 5/8” douglas fir exposure 1 plywood.i think it was about $40 both sheets. I used pressure treated 2x8's and it was a fairly easy job. Excessive shade isn’t good for your wood trailer deck, so look for ways to keep it dry without storing it in the shade.
