Since i paid $250 for this diamond nose stud, is there anything i can do to make it stay in?

Nose stud keeps sticking out. On one side of my nose the piercing looks fine, but the side that was originally with 16g jewelry, the piercing keeps sticking out. And can i screw it in later on after its healed? Please tell me this is true.

Do nose studs screw in? It has a small ball at the end of the piercing that goes in first. The piercer said once the swelling goes down that this shouldn’t happen.

The only way to fix it is to move the hook end of my stud down and then it basically just hangs out from the bottom of my nose. I washed my hands super well and rotated it back in (i realize touching it isn't ideal but neither is having metal hanging out my nostril at my office job lo and thankfully i didn't feel any pain or anythingl).
