These Merchants Alliance missions task players with sailing in the wake of a ship that sunk before reaching.

Merchant ship keys sea of thieves. The Captains Key can be found on every Lost Shipments Voyage without exception but without a keen eye for the details a sloppy pirate may also overlook it entirely. The Captains Key is the hardest piece of loot to find in the Sea of Thieves new quest The Lost Voyage. If possible you will want to try and use the Captains Key on the shipwreck instead.

There are currently only three types of ship within the game these being the Sloop max 2-person Brigantine max 3-person and the Galleon max 4- person. This voyage sends pirates on a hunt to find a missing crew for the Merchant Alliance. Swim down into it and bring the Captains Key.

These should not be confused with the Merchant Quests found from a Message in a Bottle or from Tattered Parchments inside Barrels. It can be a bit difficult to find but it will give you access to huge amounts of loot. The loot kept inside the Captains Cabin is worth much more than the single Captains Key.

These Merchant Alliance Quests take you on a journey from island to island delivering various resources to these NPC pirates in order to gain experience toward the Merchant Alliance. And there wasnt any shipwreck or barrels there. Run up to the animal with your contraption and hold the right trigger to capture it.

So my guess is the voyages may overlap and like double spawn a shipwreck and instead you get none. We even went so far as to go back and retrace our steps and check every point a second time and still nothing. If youve followed the clues correctly youll come upon the shipwreck.

Trade Good Commissions and Cargo Runs are available at all Ranks while Lost Shipments are unlocked at Rank 25. In Sea of Thieves running cargo for the Merchant Alliance will require you to know where specific NPC pirates are stationed on various islands. Merchant Voyages are Voyages issued by the Merchant Alliance.
