Spending your birthday alone isnt sad its glorious.

Is it okay to spend your birthday alone. But take time for yourself on your birthday. Its your birthday so treat yourself. After all it is my day.

Have yourself a party. I like to take my birthday as an opportunity to do things I like to do. Put a candle on.

I cant figure out why people make such a big deal out of birthdays in the first place. Is ruined by the blast from the past. Depending on where you live it might also be an awesome way to really lean into the solitude of your solo birthday and disconnect.

Spend some time in nature. Spend the day solo. If you live somewhere warm or your birthday is in the summer celebrate it outdoors.

You are after all your own best company. As the saying goes nature nurtures. I have family and a few friends and thats more than enough for me.

If youre celebrating your birthday alone because youre physically separated from your friends and family this would be an excellent time to FaceTime or Skype with them. Whatever your circumstances remember that alone doesnt have to mean lonely. A birthday spent alone can be just as eventful as all of the others.
