I have not drawn cartoon versions of REAL people but instead just figments of my imagination.

You need to understand anime is the same as cartoon. Praise be to Allah. It is not haram to draw such pictures for the purpose of education through illustration.

Therefore please guide us in the light of Quran and Sunnah that making such cakes for children in the shape of cartoon character or dolls is halal or haram. Stick to the rulings of Islam. I would be encouraging somebody to believe this viewpoint even when given no Hadith as evidence just because even during the times of the prophets saw Muslim people.

Before I actually set out to make my comic I just wanna know if cartoons are permissible or not. It is usually the artistic writing of verses from the glorious Quran but can be a famous script in the native language of any Muslim nation. Is it haram if anyone draw an animated character with full facial expression including eyes nose and mouth for a riddle video.

1- This is because it is imitating the creation and it is only Allaah Who has the ability to create. So is it haram to draw cartoon characters who are humans and animals without trying to defy Allahs creation. Stop it at once.
