In case you missed it the next edition of The Ocean Race will be contested by two different classes of boat. A partnership agreement has been made with the International Monohull Open Class Association IMOCA which provides the exclusivity to use the IMOCA 60 for crewed round the world yacht races.

The boat can be no longer than 60 feet in length 45 meters draught and a maximum mast height of 29 meters above the waterline. There are IMOCA yachts. The Vendée Globe solo round the world race is the proving ground for a range of brand new offshore monohull.

GLOBE is a great Open Imoca 60 type monohull. This design builds upon our extensive experience in IMOCA 60 design and leverages much of our ongoing Vendee Globe IMOCA 2020 concept developments. Sailing around the world while remaining self-sufficient.
