The first step in getting rid of urine from a carpet is to identify the stain itself.

Human urine on carpet. Mix together 8 fluid ounces of peroxide, 3 tablespoons baking soda and a few drops of dish detergent. Squeeze excess urine from the carpet. Now in this step you have to sprinkle or spray enzymes on the urinated spot on the carpet so that the leftover urine can be broken into simpler components.

Soak the whole think in hydrogen peroxide. If possible, place a folded towel under the carpet to protect the floor. Use a cotton cloth or paper towels to soak the urine up.

Blot the urine with paper towels. Once you have identified the stain, you can begin to treat it. Place several layers of paper towel on the affected part of the carpet.

Using cold to lukewarm water, rinse the stains off the carpet. Rinse thoroughly with warm water and blot dry. Blacklights can reveal possible areas of urine.

You can use it to absorb as much urine as possible from the affected. Gently press down to absorb as much of the urine as you can. In a bowl, mix one teaspoon of regular dish soap, one teaspoon of white distilled vinegar, 1 quart of warm water.

Removing human urine stains from hardwood, carpet, upholstery and mattress' is never easy. Let the enzyme sit there for. Apply a mixture of 3 parts white vinegar to 1 part water on top of the spot.
