Step up your reverse tie dye game!

How to reverse tie dye without bleach. Pinch the center of the fabric and twist into a spiral for a tie dye swirl pattern. This is the pack of rubber bands i have and these are the zip ties i like to use. After reverse tie dyeing a few tees, experiment with different garments and accessories.

Red bleached tie dye t shirt, spiral pattern, size medium. (longer times for more vibrant colors) rinse the shirt in cold water in an area that will not be damaged by the dye. Add water to the fill line and shake until powder is resolved.

If you use smaller pebbles the quicker it will melt. There is always a way to get started, it's not always easy but you have to dedicate yourself and make it happen. Apply the bleach solution to the shirt.

Once your shirt is all spiraled up, it’s time to add some rubber bands. Soak the fabric in the bleach solution for about 10 minutes, then wring it out gently. Next, put on gloves and pour bleach into a spray bottle (that is only used for crafting).

Place your shirt on a piece of cardboard, plastic bag, or in your sink to. Bleach (i prefer clorox, like you would use for your laundry) item to be reverse. The kit will come with some bottles of powder.
