Follow these steps for every custom Widgetsmith widget you want to add to your home screen.

How to make a custom home screen on iphone. Tap Choose File and find the icon you want to use for this shortcut. Create a new shortcut and use the Open App action from the Scripting section to select an app. Tap the three dots in the upper right corner.

Tap the wallpaper you wish to select. Tap on each icon then tap Safaris share button at the bottom of the screen and save the icon. Go to your iPhones home screen page where you want to add the widget and tap and hold on the home screen till you enter the home screen editing mode where the icons start to jiggle.

Enter the name of the shortcut under Home Screen Name and Icon. From here give the shortcut a name and tap Add to Home Screen. This will create a new Home Screen.

Add to Home Screen With your icon created now we just need to save it to your home screen. On the home screen or Today view long-press the background until things start to jiggle in the home screen editor. Tap Add to Home Screen and tap the icon next to your shortcut under Home Screen Name and Icon.

Tap Add to Home Screen. This shortcut uses the same technique of Apples Shortcuts app to save an icon to the home screen but extends it with the ability to fully customize the launcher including icons and launch images. Tap Add to Home Screen and add a name to your shortcut.

Go to the left of your home screen to the Widgets page. Choose whether you want it to be your lock screen home. Tap the icon to the left of the shortcuts name.
