In a bowl, mix up a paste of dawn dish soap.
How to clean grill grates with vinegar and baking soda. Do this by adding equal amounts of water and vinegar in a spray bottle. It should be a thick liquid consistency. Make a paste of 1 ½ cup arm & hammer baking soda and ½ cup water in a small bowl.
Fill a sink or bucket with warm water and approximately 1/2 cup of baking soda. If the food is really burnt, don’t use any water. Apply the paste to the surface of your stove.
