Cast on your preferred number of stitches in the first color.
How to change color in knitting. Give the new tail a good tug to pull down the loop around your knitting needle and create a stitch. Remove your thumb and tighten it up. Make a loop on your thumb.
Put the needle under and 5. Fill a small wash tub with cold water, enough to completely cover your project. Make a little loop hook with your fresh yarn to start.
If you're knitting in stockinette stitch. Keep repeating the process to get the cast on ready. Once the yellow is pulled to the side take the white yarn and twist it over top the yellow and knit as you normally would.
To change colors, start knitting with the new yarn. Rather than continuing to knit with the original pink yarn that’s attached to the ball, i’m happy to share how. Adding stripes to a knitting pattern is not that difficult, just remember to change colors at the end of a row or round.
Insert the needle into the first stitch, loop the new colour over the tip of the right hand needle and knit the first stitch. When you pull through both colors will be loose. This will make the color change crisp and straight rather than dotted.
