With exterior design by Winch Design Project Cosmos has now begun outfitting after the joining of the hull and superstructure earlier this month.

Winch Design was appointed by the owners to create a streamlined yacht with innovative design traits but still retaining the Heesen DNA. At 80 metres Cosmos is not only the largest yacht to date with a top speed of 30 knots shes also the fastest full aluminium yacht in her class. From its conception Project Cosmos has been incredibly ambitious not least. She was designed by Winch Design. The hull and superstructure of 80-metre Project Cosmos are now joined together.

This bodes well for Heesen who will aim to surpass last years sales figures of six yachts sold. The 80-metre Project Cosmos is due for delivery in April 2023. Heesen are well versed in the 60m plus market with previous successes including the 65m Galactica Star the 70m Galactica Super Nova and the more recent 60m Project Falcon.

The construction of Heesen Yachtss biggest ever superyacht the 80-metre all-aluminium Project Cosmos which packs the horsepower of 35 Ferraris is nearing half completion. She was built by Heesen and delivered in 2023. Her top speed is 29 kn with power coming from a Diesel engine.

Currently under construction are the hull and the superstructure. She can accommodate up to 12 guests with 19 crew members. At 8007 metres 1700 Gross Tons and with a top speed of 29 knots Project Cosmos will be the worlds largest and fastest full-aluminium motoryacht with conventional propeller propulsion system.
