There is an unused text string in among us 's game files that presumably would have been used for ghosts:

Ghosts can still see sabotage indicators, although they cannot fix any sabotages. There are lots of features in among us hacks including esp, wallhack, instant kill, etc. If you die late in the game and still have tasks left, you should do them before talking at all, as it could make the difference between a win or a loss.

When you die you go over to the ghost chat room. 4 chat to other ghosts. The sabotage cooldowns are fairly quick, so have fun with it!
