Evinrude outboard bogs down at full throttle. Look for burnedcrackedmissing insulation. I have a 1993 30hp evinrude on my 20 pontoon. Also at the same time problem in the lake while 12 tto full throttle anywhere in there it will just bog downkinda like out of gas but more like putting hand over carb like in a carcutting off airthrottle back to idle and it is fine.

I use portable 6-gallon plastic cans and usually add four cans or about 25 gallons which adds fuel but doesnt entirely fill the tank. If your fuel pump is weak or failing it could be starving the engine at high rpm. This adjustment needs to be checked whenever the throttle linkage is disturbed at all.

We thought it was the fuel filter. Runs fine at idle upto 34 throttle. Take that screw out gently and remove the cap and see if there is any derbish clogged up in it.

I take off again and same thing runs under throttle for 10 to 15 sec then starts cutting in and out. Motor is bogging down when i open up the throttle. It has become a little difficult to start but once started it will idle all day if need be.
