This can be accomplished in two steps by doing the following:

To finish a knitted tube, such as an ear warmer or headband, you can bind off in the round on circular needles. Use the tip of your darning. This is a stretchy alternative.

Cut the thread, the thread end to. We use a stitch marker to show the beginning of the round, but when we start binding off, we put a stitch marker in the 1st knit stitch and in the 1st purl stitch. And the good news, you can easily adapt the instructions from above to join knitting in the round on circular needles as well.

Binding off on circular needles is pretty similar to using straight needles. When you are done knitting in the round, you must bind off your project (also called casting off). Do not slip off the worked st of the needle.

Insert the needle into the first st, pull through the loop. Please see the last slide for an itemized list of tools and materials. The sewn bind off is my favorite bind off for collars, the tops of socks or fingerless mitts, or anything that needs a bit of extra stretch without losing.

Then insert the needle behind both legs of the first stitch on the left. One of the easiest and most versatile bind offs is the basic bind off. Place the loop on the lh needle.
