Bayliner 175 vs 185. Overall the 185 makes the 175 look a bit cut price - which is somewhat the aim of Bayliner to keep the 175 an affordable entry level boat. Both cruise easily between 3000 to 3800rpm 25 to 30 knots before reaching top speeds in excess of 40 knots in the right conditions. The 185 definitely smooths out the bumps a lot more effectively than my 175.
