International Flotilla Bareboat Skipper Course Joining a flotilla is a fun and exciting way to learn how to confidently skipper a charter yacht for the very first time.

The recommended entry-level requirements for the International Bareboat Skipper course are to have logged over 200 nautical miles and 10 days at sea before advancing to this. International Bareboat Skipper Power This is a five day course which is not for beginners and the recommended requirements are a VHF radio operators certificate and to have logged over 200 nautical miles and 10 days at sea before being certified at this level. This course introduces the experienced sailor to further in depth handling of a yacht. This size of yachts is usually still manageable for a leisure skipper. The International Bareboat Skipper Course has two components - Theory and Practical.

International Bareboat Skipper Power or Sail This is a five day course. Living on board with the customers our bareboat skippers are required to plan and adapt the charters itinerary dependant on each customers preferences weather forecasts and perhaps even any secret hidden gems. The Practical Course runs over three days - from 9am Friday to 5pm Sunday during which time students live on board.
