This Amels 180 Limited Editions model was delivered in 2009 and features the exterior styling talents of Tim Heywood interiors by Nuvolari Lenard and naval architecture from. The classic cruiser built by Amels in 1990 had arrived at the yard in Istanbul last October and despite the challenges caused by the coronavirus pandemic Dunya was able to complete the refit virtually on schedule.

Having bought the yacht a year ago the owners of the 543-metre Spirit wanted a fresh interior set-up onboard their new luxury yacht. The initial work mainly gutting was done by three technicians who crossed the Atlantic with Spirit in February. 54m Amels yacht Spirit.

We are delighted to welcome the 52-metre 171ft Amels 180 Limited Editions GRACE back to the shipyard where she was originally built in the Netherlands for a refit. Fresh from an extensive refit the 745-metre Lady E was launched from the dry dock at Pendennis last week. An extensive refit of an Amels 70m in a very short time-frame.

Work included in the refit will include a technical upgrade complete hull respray and interior modifications. Ilona was launched by Amels in 2004 to a design by Redman Whiteley Dixon and turned many heads with her special helicopter garage in the aft deck. Reported to be at the Amels yard last August for a major refit the 737m motor yacht Ilona was recently spotted on the Côte dAzur showing her new face.
