The higher voltage the better. I have a big issue with my jet ski. When your battery isnt at 100 with the plugs in the starter pulls so much draw on the battery that there isnt enough voltage to fire the plugs.

I am so confused and frustrated. 1995 Seadoo SPX 657x No spark will not start I think the generating coil is bad because the resistance is ranges from 9000 to 110000 ohms depending on position of the crank shaft but it puts out some power at cranking speed. You probably could have left the carb on and got it started with some starting.
